Henry's birthday was a great success (even if my pictures weren't). We had his Mimi, aunt Amanda, and cousin Amaya over for a birthday dinner on the Friday before his birthday. He loved all of his gifts and has some new favorites!
We had to stage him blowing out the candles a second time because he blew them out the first time the second the cake landed on the table and I missed it. So we made him do it again.
Saturday, we went to Amaya's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. That place is hoppin' even at 10am. Henry had fun, even if the look on his face tells otherwise. He was just taking it all in. Just an fyi, playing skeeball at almost 9 months pregnant is not an easy task (okay, its not difficult, but it is certainly not comfortable).
Then on Sunday, H.'s real day, we just lounged around the house in our jammies till about 2 in the afternoon. We gave Henry one more gift and watched him rock out on it and then later in the day we took Matt to the airport (another trip to Atlantis).
On a random note, Spider-man has made his presence known in our house. The boy is trying to climb the walls, shoot webs from his hands and has mastered the spidey crawl. We have officially left babyhood behind and entered the realm of boyhood.
(oh, and of course Harry Potter lives here too).
