a week and a half and we finished it. our first 'real' book. he was really into it, though towards the last third or so of the book he would get fidgety at times. i really enjoyed the read and though i wasn't fidgeting, the last third of the book was not as good as the first two thirds - so can't say i blame the boy. my favorite was the scarecrow, henry's favorite was the hammer-heads (we have plans for making our own hammer-heads today). i wish someone would remake this movie truer to the book.

not sure what's up next on the list to read. we discussed peter pan. he's been watching this version of it. or maybe wind in the willows. one of my all time favorites.
