round 2

yowza! it's been a while since i've posted here, huh?

well, since i left off with round one of the holidays, i better start again with round 2 and then we'll go from there, okay?

so, we headed off to florida for more christmas fun. bea and henry travelled really well on the way there. the return trip not so much. but in their defense none of us did. we got stuck in traffic and it was just a really long day. henry probably did the best. and bea just had her breaking point when she had been in a car seat for about 9 hours and hadn't really been held all day. we pulled over quite a bit just for cuddling (and to get out of traffic).

once we were in florida we had a great time. we got to have christmas all over again! but first things first. swimming had to be done. then presents. anyone knows that right?

during the week we went to the beach - henry and grandma scored a collection of shark teeth, took a boat trip to sarasota, went to the tacky-but-fun christmas light house, checked out snook haven (where henry heckled the band) and played in the water. henry really liked the boat trip and makes a great first mate. bea liked it too because she slept through most of it.

the weather was perfect, so was the fresh fruit picked from the yard, and as always, the visit wasn't long enough.
